Fun fact!. The EU created a directive in 2004 that made it mandatory that Braille had to be present on all medicinal packages. And that is why every country in the EU has some sort of braille on their medicinal packaging and the US don’t!

Well see the thing is that adding braille would add .03¢ to the manufacturing cost, therefore to the end consumer it will add approximately $729 onto the medication that cost them .08¢ to manufacturer, but costs the end consumer $8269. Crazy how that works, huh?
